The 6th Street App
alarming challenges

For a brand as exclusive as 6th Street, it was important that customers enjoy the ease of shopping online. However, it was alarming when the brand received reviews highlighting major issues with payment gateways, delay in app start, unfamiliar modules, and overall poor experience with the app performance.

Our Project Challenges

How we revamped the 6th street app module for
enhanced user experience

Our primary objective was to reduce the 6th Street shopping application’s start time to as less as 3
seconds and revamp the entire app module with new features and functionality for a better user
experience. We started with solving major app issues and developing new features for the app using a
systematic user-centric approach.

Our follow-up solutions consisted of fixing issues in the existing custom Algolia SDK and implementing
Algolia analytics. We also introduced a reliable cycle to the system where the data can be stored in
cache on the frontend and later be cleared after certain hits or intervals. This resulted in quick data
rendering and app launch. We also integrated secured payment gateways (Checkout.com, Apple Pay,
Tabby, Qpay) and push notification features for better engagement.
