Klip Social is the go-to social media app for all pet lovers around the
globe. The app allows pet owners to create and share short videos
and pictures of their pets in real-time. They can also join or create a
community to share their experience with fellow pet lovers.
The project required us to build an application exclusively for animal lovers. While there are many social media apps to share pictures and videos, there are no apps designed exclusively for pet lovers who want to share fun pictures of their pets with other people. Keeping this in mind, the team created an online platform where pet owners can not only create a unique profile for their pets but can also build or join groups with similar interests. To make this platform more engaging, we incorporated a live feature to share stories of pets in real-time. We also implemented AR filters and group chat/video calling features to help pet lovers share their experiences with their friends and family.
Adding a live streaming feature is a complex process, and it has to be done very precisely in order to avoid any error. Our team successfully integrated this feature into the app. Users can now go live, add people, and even broadcast images.
Implementing AR filters was the key part of the project. From choosing the right partner to the actual implementation, it was a challenging ride for the team. However, we successfully integrated this feature into the platform. Adding this innovative feature makes the app more fun and engaging for the users.
Social media is one industry that keeps experiencing rapid changes. So, it’s important to stay updated with the latest trends. We made sure to keep up with the social media trends so that we don’t miss out on any new opportunities.
We kicked off the project by gathering an understanding of the client’s vision of the product. We held
meetings with the Klip Social team on a regular basis to understand their needs better. Every part of the
project development was aimed at creating a unique space for animal lovers.
We did the complete SDLC of the project, starting from ideation to the final implementation and launch
of the application. We also shifted our entire project management and bug tracking to Zoho, which was
a new experience for the team.
