Live.Me Launches Fluxr to Promote PUBG Mobile esports

Live.me has announced the launch of the Fluxr app platform, which would allow users to stream esport and play games. Through the platform, they are looking to enhance the gaming experience with a series of on and offline gaming events and mobile first features.

For the one of a kind live broadcasting mobile app development and promotion collaboration, Fluxr has been partnered with the PUBG Group and Tencent and together they will promote the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds PUBG Mobile via in-app activations and a series of real-world esport tournaments.

Fluxr would be a standalone app which builds on the LiveMe concentrated gaming channel that features famous gaming characters like Eclihpse and SSSniperWolf and counts to over 2,000 hours of content developed daily on LiveMe having more than 60 million users.

While both console gaming and PC are supported on the Fluxr app, the platform will focus entirely on gaming, showcasing a range of different mobile titles such as – Arena of Valor, PUBG Mobile, Minecraft, Clash Royale, Fortnite etc.

The application has been optimized for mobile first view and stream experience, which allows gamers to go on live as well. The streamers can also earn money by using the app’s virtual gift mechanism, a famous feature that has been taken from LiveMe, which enables the fans to reward the gamers with virtual gift carrying cash value.

According to Sensor Tower, Mobile is the fastest growing game segment, which accounts for over 80% revenue for both Google Play and Apple App Store. Quoting on this statistics, Yuki He, Founder of Live.me said that “We truly believe that gaming is the future of mobile and we are prepared to build a strong ecosystem of audiences and mobile gamers, worldwide”.

But since mobile esports are at an early stage when compared to PC or gaming console esports, Fluxr plans on forming own PUBG mobile esports league and host several offline and online gaming tournament in Southeast Asia and US.
The partnership between Tencent and Fluxr provides a platform for the fans, gamers, and game developers to connect.

Going forward, Tencent also plans on continuing offering resource to explore PUBG Mobile esports and live streaming market for gaming industry with Fluxr being the partner in the North America.

Uploaded on both Android and iOS, Fluxr has been launched with a roster of over 200 streamers and plans on giving incentives to LiveMe broadcasters for making a transition to Fluxr as the platform ramps up the gamer recruitment in the coming years.
